| The forestry works are finally underway with the thinning of the west side of Foel Gasnach taking place. This can only be good news for the long term development of the site as it will open up the trails and let the whole hillside breath which is good news for track1 as it is a real mud pit at the moment. This may mean that some of the work already done may be damaged a little but this is unavoidable and long term is to our benefit with the summer on its way and the works due to be completed in approx. 4 months. (I'll keep you up to date when I hear the official line) Things are really looking up for 2006. This means that track Maintenance and Riding is restricted to the weekends only as this has been agreed between the Club FDHR, FC and the Contractor carrying out the works. |
